A professional resume is a manager's best tool for a successful job search. The goal of the resume is to secure a personal interview for the job. It should be clear, concise, informative, accurate, easy to read and free of typographical errors. Beginning with your most recent job, the work history section should be complete with the name of the association or company, job title and dates of employment. A brief summary of duties, responsibilities and accomplishments should accompany each job listed on the resume. A section for education, certifications, licenses and designations should also be included.
