October 11, 2019 - Operations Manager: $60,000-$70,000

Areas: Jacksonville

Operations manager for an association in Fernandina Beach. Will work under the supervision of the general manager to plan, direct, recommend and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the operational services required to maintain the common elements of the association are provided in a first class manner and in accordance with community rules and regulations and all applicable Florida statutes. This is a hands on leadership position responsible for overseeing the operational, maintenance and administrative functions of the community. Will be on call for emergency consultation in the event of incidents requiring management intervention.

Requirements:

* Associates degree with a concentration in business preferred.

* 3-5 years of relevant management experience required.

* Superior customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

* Detail oriented with the ability to multitask.

* Professional written and verbal communication skills.

* Advanced command of computer hardware and software is required. Should also be proficient in advanced versions of Excel, Word and Power Point.

Responsibilities:

* Participate in the hiring and management of all employees involved in operations and supervise selection and management of outside vendors.

* Oversee the onsite operations team, assuring that staff members have the tools and resources needed. Communicate any concerns with the board through the general manager.

* Plan, direct and oversee implement comprehensive systems for protection of the community assets and records of the association.

* Assure that inspection of common areas and facilities are conducted regularly in determining community standards needs.

* Monitor compliance with rules and regulations and implement procedures for handling violations.

* Assure the solicitation of bids and contract management for projects and services.

* Assures the development and execution of a program of community events (educational, recreational, social and civic) which promote a sense of community among members.

* Manage the collections process and prepare monthly reports.

* Plan and implement all monthly board meeting reporting, election meeting and annual meeting preparation and reporting, as well as reporting for committees and task forces.

* Assist in managing emergency management operations and protocols as designed and approved for the community. Job #12644
