December 12, 2024 - Community Association Manager: $140,000-$180,000

Areas: West Palm Beach

Experienced and highly motivated community association manager needed for an association in Palm Beach, immediate opening. This is a full time onsite position that requires excellent management, direction, focus and leadership to ensure the community is maintained and operated in accordance with the association's objectives. Responsibilities include working closely with the association’s, board of directors to manage and operate the community, facilitate solutions to problems and manage and support staff and owners. Strong management skills, accounting / bookkeeping knowledge and customer service and supervisory skills are required. Manager needs a strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices. ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, leases, regulations and related documents. A working knowledge of real estate transactions is important, but a real estate license is not required.

Position Requirements:

* Maintain current knowledge of state regulatory agency statutes and with an emphasis on community association rules and regulations.

* Have a complete understanding of Fair Housing laws, OSHA guidelines and standards, as well as building codes and ordinances.

* Proficient computer skills: Windows 7 or higher, BuildingLink, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.

* Must possess a strong managerial background, with at least 5 years of experience as an onsite manager managing the association and building operations, managing staff and servicing owners.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise the association's staff.

* Interview and train new employees.

* Understand business objectives to ensure optimal association performance.

* Perform financial analysis with the ability to reach and understand financial reporting.

* Maintain positive working relationships with owners, vendors and contractors.

* Prepare budgets, attend board meetings and direct all phases of association operations.

* Perform monthly variance and executive summary reporting.

* Direct bookkeeping functions and credit account for receipts and debits.

* Conduct regular community inspections to ensure accurate accountability of the association's condition and provide recommendations.

* Complete budget preparation, attend board meetings and oversight of all phases of association operations.

* Conduct daily community walks and monthly site reports. Perform monthly variance and executive summary reporting.

Financial:

* Review and distribute monthly financials to the board.

*Review and handle delinquent issues before they become problems.

* Issue clear and accurate monthly statements with all charges clearly detailed.

* Review vendor contracts and performance to achieve quality at the lowest available cost.

* Ensure bank account balances are reconciled and correct.

* Work with the treasurer and board to streamline and simplify systems.

* Oversee all account receivables and payables.

Office Management:

Manage office staff to be thorough and complete and prepare them to succeed by:

* Clear direction and feedback through frequent meetings.

* On the job training.

* Professionalizing appearance and interaction.

* Clear job descriptions.

* Clear expectations and regular performance evaluation and feedback.
