Regional director of Operations to oversee the performance, growth and operational excellence of community association management operations within the Southwest Florida region. Will be responsible for driving client satisfaction, team development, operational efficiency, financial performance and strategic execution across a portfolio of communities and regional teams. Must be dynamic and results driven.
Must be an experienced operations leader with a strong background in community association management, team leadership, client relations and business development. Will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership while ensuring exceptional service delivery to the communities.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, real estate or related field preferred.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in community association management, hospitality or related operations leadership roles.
* Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational performance.
* Proven ability to lead multiple teams and manage large scale operations effectively.
* Excellent communication, relationship building, conflict resolution and organizational skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast paced, client focused environment.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and community association management software platforms.
* Experience working with developer controlled communities and large scale master planned communities.
* CAM or regional operations leadership experience within Southwest Florida.
* Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
* Ability to travel regularly throughout the Southwest Florida region.
* Ability to attend evening board meetings and occasional weekend events.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
* Oversee day to day operations for the Southwest Florida region portfolio of communities.
* Ensure operational consistency, service excellence and compliance with standards, policies and procedures.
* Monitor regional performance metrics and implement strategies to improve operational effectiveness and resident satisfaction.
* Partner with community association managers and regional support teams to resolve escalated operational issues.
Client and Developer Relations
* Build and maintain strong relationships with board members, developers, owners and business partners.
* Serve as a senior level point of contact for complex client concerns and high level communications.
* Support developer relationships and ensure successful transition and ongoing management of communities.
* Conduct regular community visits and attend board meetings as needed.
Financial Oversight
* Review and monitor community financial performance, budgets, reserve planning and vendor contracts.
* Ensure communities operate within approved budgets and financial objectives.
* Partner with accounting teams to ensure timely financial reporting and operational accountability.
* Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savings.
Team Leadership and Development
* Lead, mentor and develop regional managers, community association managers and support staff.
* Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, professionalism and customer service excellence.
* Participate in recruiting, onboarding, performance management, coaching and succession planning.
* Support employee engagement and retention initiatives throughout the region.
Business Development and Strategic Growth
* Support regional growth initiatives, developer partnerships and new business opportunities.
* Participate in proposal development, presentations and onboarding of new communities.
* Collaborate with executive leadership to execute strategic goals and operational initiatives.
* Identify opportunities to enhance services, processes and resident experiences.
Compliance and Risk Management
* Ensure compliance with Florida statutes, governing documents, company policies and industry regulations.
* Monitor risk management practices, vendor compliance, insurance requirements and safety standards.
