Architectural Review Committee manager for an association in Stuart. Will coordinates all construction and renovation with the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) and architect. Will attend meetings, record and transcribe minutes and provide administrative support for the committee. Will interface with contractors, vendors and members with regard to ARC governing documents and guidelines. Will report directly to the general manager/chief operating officer.
Major Responsibilities:
Administrative:
* Coordinate with the general manager and ARC chair on projects and correspondence.
* Prepare meeting notices and agendas, attend meetings and record and distribute monthly meeting minutes for the ARC.
* Maintain correspondence and coordinate communication for the ARC.
* Manage applications by residents and architects, engineers, contractors and other professionals. Assist with the preparation with applications for owners, including taking photographs of proposed projects and existing conditions.
* Act as liaison and administrative support for the ARC.
* Provide access and copies of applications, related documents, such as governing documents, plat maps, dock window map.
Community:
* Conduct weekly drive by and site visits throughout the community. Address ARC guidelines violations. Create, track and distribute correspondence and resolution.
* Work in collaboration with other departments for issuance of ARC signs, collecting and refunding deposits and communicating with members and vendors.
* Directly review and ensure compliance with the architectural review guidelines and governing documents for exterior changes and improvements to individual residences.
* Monitor Martin County building permits to ensure compliance with ARC requirements.
Education/Training/Certificates/Licenses:
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience in residential construction preferred.
* Must be Florida notary public.
* Florida community association manager license required or ability to obtain within 6 months from date of hire.
* Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, Martin County Plat Maps, governing documents and architectural review guidelines.
* Valid Florida driver’s license.
Working Conditions:
Work will be divided between indoor and outdoor work. The proportion of indoor to outdoor work will fluctuate. May be exposed to weather conditions such as heat, cold or rain while working outdoors. Must have the mobility to move freely about the community, including driving and walking. Must have flexibility to bend, stoop and reach overhead. Must be able to sit for several hours at a time.
