Community associations manager for an upscale single family home country club community in Western Boca Raton. Will be responsible for providing the overall management of the community association, including inspections and overall physical maintenance, vendor and contract management, budgeting and invoice processing, interactions with owners, vendors, board members and committee members. Although enjoying considerable discretion and independence, the community association manager performs all duties in accordance with the association’s policies, processes and procedures, also consistent with management philosophy. Will only consider candidates that have experience managing single family associations, preferably in a country club setting.
Requirements:
* Must have country club experience.
* Excellent people skills in dealing with owners, as well as administrative abilities.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ease learning other applications.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to make sound business decisions and work effectively with little or no supervision.
* Strong problem solving and conflict management.
* Strategic thinking, ability to anticipate consequences and how to address them.
* Ability to successfully work with a wide range of individuals including vendors, office staff, community members and all levels of management.
* Minimum of 5 years actively managing community associations.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise the operation and administration of the community association in accordance with the association's policies and applicable laws.
* Act as the primary liaison with the board, owners, committees and realtors.
* Perform and direct administrative and management duties.
* Ensure community management tools are being effectively developed and utilized such as annual calendar, action item list, resolution worksheets, timed agendas, RFP matrixes, committee charters, procurement procedures, operating budget, etc.
* Review monthly financial reports and ensure management summary is submitted to the board.
* Fully understand the association’s declarations, articles, bylaws and rules, generate violation notices and manage enforcement process.
* Provide and oversee recommendations regarding major capital expenditures to maintain the desired community appearance and operation.
* Monitor delinquency rates and collections process.
* Attend board meetings and community events.
* Prepare board packages according to established time frames.
* Ensure the board is aware of legal matters involving the association.
* Maintain owner and contract files relating to the operations of the association and all statutorily mandated records.
* Assist the board and ARB with the architectural review process and routine inspections.
* Coordinate and oversee the inspection of common area and arrange appropriate follow up actions.
