Onsite landscape specialist for the Ruskin area, CAM license not required. Will provide independent oversight of landscape contracts, tree and palm contract, palm fertilization program and association mulch program to ensure vendor compliance with the terms and conditions and to document overall performance daily, recommending corrective action when needed.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED.
* Active and valid driver’s license is required.
* Prefer FNGLA certification, or equivalent accreditation. If not certified upon start, must be willing to gain certification early in the role.
* Specific knowledge of the maintenance requirements for typical Florida turfgrass strains, Florida plant, trees and ornamental landscaping maintenance requirements.
* Proficient in proper practices for maintenance and care of all landscapes, including mowing, edging, pruning, arbor care, pest control, irrigation and fertilization.
* Direct experience in residential and commercial landscaping maintenance as a crew lead or supervisor of landscaping crews.
* Ability to read and interpret contracts.
Responsibilities:
* Utilize Microsoft products, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word. iAuditor digital inspections or similar inspection software.
* Daily inspection of association landscaping, noting any contract variances or deficiencies in quality.
* Meeting with board members on a routine basis to address their specific needs and determine satisfaction with the landscape vendors.
* Partner with vendors to help provide outstanding service and landscapes to the association and ensure services are provided in an adequate and timely manner.
* Liaison between the landscape vendors and board members.
* Prepare weekly landscape grading scores based on select criteria.
* Utilize the work order system for tracking and follow up on landscaping items daily.
* General office skills, including telephone, computer, filing, copying, scanning, etc.
* Prepare reports and receive reports, organize and securely file records.
* Facilitate proper workflow for documents and information.
