Operations director maintenance for a high rise in Jensen Beach, CAM license not required. Must be skilled and proactive to oversee the daily operations of the association. Requirements:
* 3-5+ years of building maintenance experience, preferably in high rise or multiple unit residential communities.
* 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
* Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire/life safety systems, some drywall experience is a plus.
* Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
* Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
* Comfortable with computer and work order systems.
* Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and work in varying conditions.
* Availability for on call emergencies.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct and supervise routine maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
* Working collaboratively with the manager, lead and schedule maintenance staff and vendors for repairs and inspections.
* Respond to resident service requests and building emergencies with urgency and professionalism.
* Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections and inventory.
* Ensure compliance with safety codes, building regulations and policies.
* Coordinate with association management on capital projects and preventive maintenance plans.
* Monitor building automation systems and energy efficiency initiatives.
