March 13, 2024 - Part Time Manager: $50,000-$55,000

Areas: Fort Lauderdale Miami

Part time manager for a condominium in Hallandale Beach, 30 hours per week. Will work onsite with the board to assist in the day to day operations of the condominium office and buildings. Prefer bilingual English/Spanish.

Required Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications:

* 2 years of direct work experience.

* Notary Public Seal Licensure or willing to obtain within 3 months of employment.

* Advanced computer skills in all areas, including Microsoft Office, Email, Zoom, internet and Google Workplace.

* Familiarity or the ability to become familiar with the association governing documents and Florida Condominium statutes.

* Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Board of Directors:

* Keep the board always informed through email and by creating reports that summarize pertinent issues related to condominium operations, such as owner issues and building and grounds needs.

* Assist the president and treasurer in preparation of the annual operating budget in cooperation with the accountant.

* Upon approval from the treasurer, prepare checks on a timely basis.

* Recommend to the board of Directors, for approval, all contracts on behalf of the association.

* Run errands.

* Maintain systems of documentation and record keeping.

* Attend all board meetings.

* Conduct routine inspection of the community no less than weekly to identify necessary repairs and maintenance, and report to the board with specific recommendations for short and long term solutions.

Residents:

* Be onsite for 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., to greet visitors and residents, handle incoming calls and other communication.

* Be responsible for taking applications, conducting background checks and overseeing the screening process for new residents.

* Be familiar with emergency procedures involving the health and safety of persons, such as people trapped in elevators, intruders, hurricane preparation, fire, etc.

* Maintain a businesslike relationship with residents and respond expeditiously to requests.

* Communicate in emails, verbally at meetings and on bulletin boards to keep residents informed of events and activities.

Service Providers/Contractors/State Officials:

* Work with realtors, banks, etc., provide applications, estoppel letter, etc., know the association's payment structure.

* Schedule and be available for service providers and contractors.

* Train and supervise all personnel.

* Will be on call after hours and on weekends.
