Areas: Bradenton

General manager for a premier community in the Parrish area. Will be responsible for providing the overall supervision of the community, including inspections, overall maintenance, vendor and contract management, budgeting and invoice processing. Will interact with owners, vendors, board members and committee members. Will also oversee the onsite food and beverage operations.

Requirements:

* A minimum of 5 years of actively managing community associations.

* A strong background in special project management is preferred.

* Hospitality experience preferred.

* Excellent people skills.

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, Vantaca software experience preferred.

* Excellent written and verbal communication.

* Ability to make sound business decisions and work effectively with little or no supervision.

* Strong time management, problem solving and conflict management.

* Ability to successfully work with a wide range of personnel including vendors, personnel, office staff and all levels of management.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise the operation and administration of the association in accordance with policies and procedures.

* Act as the primary liaison with the board and owners.

* Perform and direct administrative and management duties.

* Ensure community management tools are being effectively developed and utilized such as annual calendar, action item list, resolution worksheets, timed agendas, committee charters, procurement procedures, operating budget, etc.

* Review monthly financial reports and ensure the management summary is submitted to the board.

* Conduct inspections, generate violation notices and enforcement process.

* Provide recommendations to the board and committees regarding major capital expenditures as required to maintain the desired community appearance and operation.

* Monitor delinquency rates and collections process.

* Attend board meetings and community events.

* Prepare board packages according to established time frames.

* Ensure the board is aware of legal actions involving the association.

* Assist the board with the architectural review process and routine inspections.

* Responsible for maintenance of records data base, including updating resident information.

* Responsible for routine and special project vendor management, including procurement as well as performance evaluation.

* Coordinate and oversee the inspection of building facilities and common areas and arrange appropriate follow up actions.

* Work with the executive chef and front of the house manager on food and beverage operations.
