Onsite landscaping manager for the Ruskin area, CAM license not required. Will provide independent oversight of landscape and tree care contracts, the palm fertilization program and mulch operations. Will handle the management issues concerning landscaping for the association. Must ensure vendor compliance, document performance and recommend corrective action.
Requirements:
* FNGLA certification or equivalent, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
* High school diploma or GED.
* Active and valid driver’s license is required.
* Ability to read and interpret contracts.
* The working environment has 90% outdoor supervision and 10% in office and meeting rooms.
* This is a largely physically active role.
* Ability to frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds.
* Some local travel could be expected for this role. There will be a significant amount of driving around the community.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct daily landscape inspections and note contract variances and quality deficiencies. Use inspection software (iAuditor or similar) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
* Collaborate with vendors and board contacts to resolve landscaping issues and ensure timely service.
* Prepare weekly grading scores and maintain records of vendor performance. Use a work order system for tracking landscaping issues.
* Assist board members with specific landscaping needs.
* Meet regularly with board members. Maintain organized, secure files and workflows.
* Assist with the preparation of lawn and landscape RFPs and contracts.
* This position has supervisory responsibilities.
