Spa fitness center manager for an association in Miami, CAM license not required. Will ensure that day to day operations of the health spa fitness center are managed effectively while serving the needs of the residents and guests of the community. Effectively manage all operational aspects of the spa to include staffing, budgeting, payroll, class scheduling and inventory control. Due to the operation hours of the health spa, must be able to work a flexible schedule, which will include weekend coverage.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure cleanliness of all fitness areas and common areas within the spa.
* Supervise and oversee all the activities within the health spa.
* Manage and plan all events and activities in the spa.
* Hire, train and develop all spa staff.
* Supervise and schedule all spa personnel for the proper and efficient operation of the health spa.
* Interview and recommend for hiring the personnel with the approval of the general manager.
* Oversee the maintenance of all equipment and report directly to the general manager items that require attention.
* Forward to the association office all collected fees from guest fees.
* Schedule all activities, including all classes.
* Assist residents in fitness equipment usage.
* Inventory and restock supplies.
* Set up rooms for meetings.
* Meet with personnel to review procedures twice a month or sooner, if necessary.
* Schedule repairs with maintenance department.
