October 06, 2019 - Community Association Manager: $40,000-$45,000

Areas: Miami

Community association manager for a 200 unit association in Aventura. Must have great communication and organization skills. Will interact with internal and external customers including homeowners, vendors, board members and committee members.


* 3-5 years of management experience is required.

* 3-5 years of portfolio management experience is required.

* 3-5 years of administrative experience is required.

* Bilingual, English-Spanish, is a plus.


* Supervise the operation and administration of the association.

* Acts as the primary liaison with the board and owners.

* Perform and direct administrative and management duties.

* Ensure that management tools are being effectively developed and utilized such as annual calendar, action item list, resolution worksheets, timed agendas, committee charters, procurement procedures, operating budget, etc.

* Review and present monthly financial reports and ensure management summary is submitted to the board.

* Provide and oversee recommendations to the board and committees regarding major capital expenditures to maintain the desired community appearance and operation.

* Monitor delinquency rates and collections process.

* Attend board meetings.

* Prepare board packages.

* Ensure the board is aware of legal actions involving the association.

* Maintain unit and contract files relating to the operations of the association.

* Assist the board with the architectural review process and routine inspections.

* Responsible for maintenance of databases, including updating resident information in TOPS.

* Responsible for routine and special project vendor management including procurement as well as performance evaluation.

* Responsible for oversight of staff.

* Coordinate and oversee inspection of building facilities and common area and arrange appropriate follow up actions. Job #12596
