September 12, 2019 - Experienced Community Association Manager: $65,000

Areas: Panhandle

Experienced community association manager to manage a 150 unit condominium in Panama City Beach. This is a hands on leadership position responsible for overseeing the operational, administrative, financial, human resources, maintenance and security functions of a community and have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Will coordinate the maintenance and repair to maintain the common areas, manage and oversee the maintenance personnel, coordinate with vendors work closely and effectively with the board. Attend meetings, act as a liaison between the board and owners and oversee the activities of contracted vendors. Strong management skills, customer service skills and supervisory skills are required. Will be on call in the event of after hours for emergencies.

Responsibilities:

* Inspect daily activities on grounds, facilities and equipment routinely to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance.

* Investigate complaints, disturbances and violations. Resolve problems, following association rules and regulations.

* Maintain accurate records, files and communications pertinent to the association office (cabinets and computer files) including records of sales, rental or usage activity and special permits issued.

* Review detailed budgets and financial reports.

* Purchase building and maintenance supplies, equipment or furniture.

* Maintain contact with insurance carriers, fire and police departments and other agencies to ensure protection and compliance with codes and regulations.

* Monitor contracts regularly and inform board of renewals due and compliance.

* Strong speaking and writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively on a variety of levels.

* Update association information boards, prepare the association newsletter and other communication with residents.

* Strong organization and conflict resolution skills.

* Assist board members in the selection of contractors and insurance providers and prepare a bid comparison analysis spreadsheet.

* Computer skills in Windows environment including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks.

* Licensed CPO (helpful) experience in maintaining commercial pools.

* Construction or project manager experience helpful.

* Ability to run a board meeting according to Robert’s Rules of Order. Job #12611
