August 12, 2020 - Community Association Manager: $50,000-$60,000

Areas: Miami Keys

Community association manager for the area manager position in Homestead and Key Largo. Must be well qualified and work closely with the associations and boards to manage and operate the communities, facilitate solutions to problems, ensure accuracy of invoicing, provide oversight of contracted work, attend meetings as needed and communicate effectively with all.


* Leasing experience.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience.

* Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

* Self directed and motivated, comfortable working in a collaborative environment.

* Strong analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to multi task.

* Expertise in Excel, Word, Rent Manager and Yardi.


* Provide management, direction and leadership to ensure the communities are maintained and operated in accordance with objectives and meet or exceed expectations.

* Oversee the day to day operations.

* Interact daily with the office staff, vendors, contractors and boards.

* Oversight of the office staff, maintenance staff, housekeeping staff, grounds staff and pool staff.

* Direct all phases of association operations and react to any emergencies in a manner that not only conveys confidence in the employees and unit owners, but also results in a minimum amount of inconvenience, injury or damage to persons and equipment.

* Approve purchases and contracts.

* Review leases, particularly those with clauses that affect the operations.

* Review and approve payroll.

* Conduct routine inspection of community.

* Manage all delinquent accounts to ensure prompt payments.

* Coordinate all meetings.

* Responsible for accurate and timely monthly reporting. Including variance reports, monthly capital status reports, contract summary reporting, etc.

* Conduct a detailed monthly review of all operating costs and produce variance explanations and reports. Compare revenue, expense and capital expenditures to budget and report on them.

* Timely and accurate preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.

* Review and maintain owner logs, work orders and remedial actions taken.

* Implement proper reporting procedures for events such as accidents, incidents and theft. Follow up with proper dispatching of these reports. Respond promptly to any issue that may arise in a courteous and helpful manner.

* Coordinate special requests for services.

* Maintain constant contact and communication with residents by providing relevant information via meetings, memorandums, rules and regulations, security recommendations, fire and life safety hazards, scheduled maintenance, etc. Job #12698
