Experienced community association manager for a beachfront cooperative in Fort Lauderdale. Must have at least 5 years of experience managing communities.
Responsibilities:
* Skilled in QuickBooks, Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Strong in written and verbal communication.
* Schedule and supervise maintenance staff and vendors.
* Coordinate and attend board meetings, annual and special meeting mailings.
* Establish and coordinate a building maintenance plan, conduct routine walk through inspections.
* Ensure all building inspections, licenses and permits are up to date and organized.
* Contact and negotiate with contractors and obtain bids.
* Communicate and enforce rules and regulations and association bylaws.
* Strong organization and multi tasking abilities and familiarity with Florida statutes is required.
* Maintain organization of all office records, service contracts, up to date unit owner files and other association business files.
* Assist with budget and monitor all budget expenditures and report all discrepancies to the board.
* Provide weekly updates to the board and monthly newsletter to members.
* Customer service with a smile, answering phones, speaking directly to owners, vendors, etc. and be able to assist them as needed, email correspondence.
* Overall, must be able to perform all association management related duties, responsibilities and tasks, as well as administrative duties. Job #11330
